Princess Cruises to End Direct Sales Presence in Four Asian Markets
The cruise line is restructuring commercial functions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China while maintaining operations in Japan, Singapore and Australia.

Princess Cruises is ending its direct sales presence in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China as part of a regional commercial restructuring. The company said it made targeted strategic adjustments to its commercial divisions in those markets to reflect evolving market conditions.
A Princess Cruises spokesperson did not disclose the number of employees affected by the changes. The cruise line said its operations in Japan, Singapore and Australia remain unchanged.
Under the revised structure, Princess Cruises’ Singapore office now reports to Australia for sales and marketing. Customer operations are being transferred to the company’s UK office.
Princess Cruises previously entered a multi-ship agreement with the Singapore Tourism Board covering the period from 2027 through 2030. The company has not announced any change to that agreement.
