According to the account, passengers used the emergency intercom and waited approximately 20 minutes before a crew member responded. The report said some passengers experienced panic attacks, at least one person fainted, and several visited the ship’s medical center after leaving the elevator.
A separate report said medical personnel were not waiting when the elevator doors fully opened. The social-media account did not indicate whether a power problem, door fault or another mechanical issue affected the elevator.
