Passenger arrested after alleged sexual battery aboard cruise
The vessel and cruise line were not identified in the arrest report.

Cody Gray, 34, was arrested Saturday on charges of sexual battery and supplying alcohol to a minor, according to an arrest report. Authorities said an 18-year-old passenger accused a man of sexually battering her aboard a cruise ship before it returned to Miami.
The arrest report states that Gray and the woman were passengers on a cruise that departed PortMiami on Sept. 6 and returned Saturday. The woman told her parents and ship personnel that she could not remember what occurred in Gray’s cabin and had not consented to sexual activity with him, according to the report.
Ship personnel detained Gray until the vessel arrived back at PortMiami, where he was arrested, the report states. During a Sunday appearance in Miami-Dade County bond court, a judge ordered Gray held without bond pending another hearing. Authorities did not name the ship in the arrest report, so the vessel and cruise line remain unconfirmed. A separate report asserted that Carnival Horizon was the only cruise ship to leave PortMiami on Sept. 6, 2026, and return Sept. 12, 2026.
