P&O Cruises Explains Advance Dining Payment and Cancellation Terms
The cruise line says prepaid reservation charges are deducted from the final meal bill, while late cancellations incur a £5.00 per-person charge.

P&O Cruises has outlined how payments are handled when guests reserve speciality or select dining before their cruise. The company said an amount prepaid for an Azura dining reservation would be deducted at the end.
For advance online bookings, guests must pay the applicable cover charge or reservation fee in full by payment card at checkout. Pre-cruise onboard spend and promotional dining credits cannot be used for these bookings because they are applied only on board.
P&O Cruises says venues with individually priced menu items require a per-person reservation charge when booked before the cruise. Items ordered at the venue are charged to the guest’s onboard account. The total prepaid reservation charge is then deducted from the final bill at the end of the meal, when any advertised discounts are also applied.
Pre-cruise dining reservations can be cancelled online up to 24 hours before the reservation time for a full refund to the original payment card. According to P&O Cruises, cancellations made less than 24 hours beforehand carry a £5.00 charge per person, applied to the onboard account.
