Oasis of the Seas traveler shares port-day and disembarkation tips

A traveler aboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas reported several lessons from a cruise scheduled to depart Port Liberty in New Jersey on August 2, 2026, including ways her group managed port visits and luggage.
At Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, admission was reported to range from about $99 to $234 per person, depending on the season and booking lead time. The traveler said her party of 10 instead paid $1,200 for a private cabana. She also reported that the group needed about an hour to leave the ship and board a tender in Nassau.
Near Port Canaveral, the group used a day pass at Holiday Inn Vacation Club after taking a roughly one-mile Uber ride. According to the traveler, passes cost $45 for adults and $25 for guests under 18, with access to a pool, lazy river, ocean beach and indoor movie theater.
During the return to New Jersey, the traveler reported two separate medical emergencies. She said Oasis of the Seas increased speed to reach Atlantic City, where a helicopter transported the patients to a hospital.
For final disembarkation, the report noted that terminal porters can carry passengers’ luggage to vehicles in the parking area and place it in the trunk in exchange for a tip.
