Norwegian Cruise Line plans short Tasmania voyages and longer Australia and New Zealand sailings during what it describes as the ship’s biggest Australian season.

Norwegian Spirit is scheduled to homeport in Sydney from December 2026 for what Norwegian Cruise Line describes as its biggest Australian season ever. The plans appeared in sponsored content for the cruise line.
The program includes the first four-day Tassie Taster long-weekend cruises and five round-trip summer sailings lasting between eight and 14 days. A four-day itinerary from Sydney is scheduled to dock in Hobart.
An 11-day Melbourne, Adelaide and Kangaroo Island cruise will depart from Sydney and include overnight stays in Melbourne and Adelaide. Norwegian Cruise Line presents the itinerary as suited to nature and wine enthusiasts, couples and active adults.
A 14-day Australia and New Zealand cruise is also planned as a round-trip summer sailing from Sydney. Its departure will coincide with Christmas and New Year, with Melbourne and Milford Sound among the listed highlights.
Norwegian Spirit has nine bars and lounges. Its adults-only Spice H20 area includes hot tubs during the day and space for dancing at night.
