Norwegian previews Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay
The nearly six-acre attraction is scheduled to open to guests on Sept. 4, 2026, during a Norwegian Luna call.

Norwegian Cruise Line hosted an exclusive preview of Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay, its 270-acre private island destination in The Bahamas. Attendees included government officials, travel partners, media, more than 100 content creators and other invited guests.
The nearly six-acre waterpark is scheduled to officially open to guests on Sept. 4, 2026, when Norwegian Luna visits the island. Announced attractions include the 170-foot Tidal Tower, waterslides, the Wandering River, cliff jumps and interactive splash zones.
Other facilities at Great Stirrup Cay include Great Life Lagoon, which offers two swim-up bars, private cabanas, complimentary loungers and umbrellas. Splash Harbor, a complimentary family splash pad, is located near the pool and refreshments.
Waterpark passes can be purchased through a guest’s myNCL account after a cruise reservation has been completed. Great Stirrup Cay is available on itineraries throughout the year, with seasonal voyages departing from New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Port Canaveral and Jacksonville.
