Norwegian fleet spans new Prima Plus ships, solo cabins and Hawaii sailings
The cruise line’s 21 active vessels offer differing features, from racetracks and virtual reality to expanded accommodation options for solo travelers.

Norwegian Cruise Line operates 21 active vessels, with onboard experiences varying by ship class. Norwegian Aqua, launched in 2025, and Norwegian Luna, which debuted in April 2026, are about 10% larger than the original Prima-class vessels. According to data cited in the report, each is approximately 156,300 gross tons and accommodates about 3,571 guests at double occupancy.
Norwegian Encore’s attractions include the multi-level Encore Speedway go-kart track across its upper decks and the Galaxy Pavilion virtual-reality complex, which features immersive simulators.
For solo travelers, Norwegian Epic has 99-square-foot Studio cabins designed for one guest. Norwegian expanded its fleetwide solo accommodation range in early 2024, adding Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview and Solo Balcony categories.
Pride of America occupies a distinct role in the fleet as a U.S.-flagged cruise ship operating year-round inter-island itineraries in Hawaii.
