The nearly six-acre attraction is scheduled to officially open on Sept. 4, 2026, following a media preview in The Bahamas.

Norwegian Cruise Line has celebrated the opening of Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay, its private island in The Bahamas. The cruise line hosted a media preview of the attraction ahead of its official grand opening on Sept. 4, 2026.
The nearly six-acre waterpark is organized into four main areas. Its centerpiece, the 170-foot Tidal Tower, features eight slides.
Another attraction, Wandering River, extends for more than 800 feet and includes an immersive tunnel. The river area also features Floataway Bar, a swim-up venue.
Designed for families, Splash Cay covers more than 9,000 square feet. It includes a tipping bucket capable of holding 300 gallons of water, eight mini-slides and interactive water features.
Passengers booked on Norwegian cruises that call at Great Stirrup Cay can purchase waterpark passes by signing in to their my NCL accounts.
