Norwegian Cruise Line profile sits against mixed cruise-sector signals
A sector report lists NCLH as an S&P 500 company while pointing to stronger demand and higher fuel costs elsewhere in the cruise market.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., identified by ISIN BMG667211046, operates in the global cruise and tourism sector, according to the report. The company trades as NCLH on the New York Stock Exchange, is classified within the consumer discretionary industry group covering hotels, resorts and cruise lines, and is a member of the S&P 500.
The report said detailed current figures for Norwegian Cruise Line were not fully available in the sources reviewed. It instead cited results from an unnamed Norwegian coastal cruise operator to illustrate recent conditions in parts of the wider market.
That operator recorded second-quarter 2026 EBITDA of NOK 98 million, a 24.1% increase from a year earlier, according to the report. Occupancy reached 83%, while onboard operational revenue rose 33% year over year. Despite those gains, the operator reduced its full-year 2026 EBITDA guidance to NOK 500 million because of higher fuel costs, indicating that increased operating expenses were weighing on its outlook.
