Norwegian Cruise Line investigates suspicious guest emails
Reported messages included reservation details while requesting payment-card verification and other information.

Norwegian Cruise Line said it is investigating concerning emails reported by several guests that appeared to originate from ships sailing from New Orleans and Galveston.
The reported messages imitated NCL documents and contained cruise confirmation and reservation details. They directed recipients to follow links for security verification, payment-card confirmation or check-in completion. Reddit users reported receiving similar emails involving Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Encore bookings.
NCL confirmed that it was aware of the reported scam emails. The cruise line had not provided a confirmed explanation for the inclusion of personal and reservation details in the messages.
In a notice on its website, NCL instructed guests not to follow links, respond to the messages or provide personal or payment information by email. The company also said its official emails use addresses ending in @ncl.com or @nclcorp.com.
