Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings stock declines 3.0%

A market-tracking report attributed the likely pressure to leverage and funding concerns, a reduced earnings outlook and soft demand at the Norwegian Cruise Line brand.

Quiver PriceTracker reported that Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings stock was down 3.0%.

The report said the most likely factors weighing on the stock were investor concerns about leverage and funding risk, a reduced full-year 2026 earnings outlook and continued soft demand at the Norwegian Cruise Line brand.

According to the report, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings lowered its full-year 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share outlook to approximately $1.50 in late July. The report said second-quarter adjusted earnings per share exceeded guidance, while investors remained focused on weaker expected profitability.

The report also cited a company update saying demand remained pressured at the Norwegian Cruise Line brand. Management characterized the business as being in the early stages of a turnaround.

A recent analyst downgrade highlighted rising leverage and the possibility of a funding gap during the following 18 months, according to the report. Quiver PriceTracker also reported two open-market purchases and no sales by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings insiders during the preceding six months.
