The decline occurred during a weaker session for the wider stock market. The S&P 500 Index slipped 0.06% to finish at 7,753.11, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.11% to 53,975.98.
At Monday’s closing price, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings shares stood 31.75% below their 52-week high. The stock’s high over that period was $27.18, reached in September.
Trading activity was also below its recent average. Volume totaled 14.1 million shares for the session, compared with a 50-day average of 17.4 million shares. Monday’s trading volume was therefore 3.3 million shares below that average.
