Norwegian Cruise Line cuts 2026 earnings outlook
Analysts lowered several price targets while generally maintaining positive or neutral ratings on the cruise company’s shares.

Norwegian Cruise Line lowered its full-year 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share forecast from $2.38 to a range of $1.45 to $1.79, according to an August 24 market report. The report attributed the reduced outlook to softer demand conditions.
The same report said the company’s chief executive purchased $2.5 million in Norwegian Cruise Line shares around the time of the guidance revision. It also reported that Truist reduced its price target from $25 to $20 while retaining a Buy rating.
Market data dated September 14 placed the average analyst price target at $20.52, compared with Norwegian Cruise Line’s $14.72 closing price on the New York Stock Exchange. A September 4 ratings update showed Wells Fargo maintaining an Overweight rating while lowering its target from $22 to $20.
A separate compilation covering 20 analysts classified the shares as a Hold overall. Of those analysts, 25% assigned Buy ratings and 75% issued Hold ratings, while none recommended selling the stock.
