Norwegian, Carnival shares climb after stronger outlook updates
Norwegian expects third-quarter performance to top its earlier forecast, while Carnival raised its full-year adjusted earnings outlook.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings shares rose nearly 2% in premarket trading Wednesday after the company said stronger-than-anticipated revenue should lift third-quarter results above its previous forecast.
The cruise operator had earlier projected third-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.90 per share and adjusted EBITDA of $874 million. It did not issue revised figures for the quarter but reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance. Norwegian also estimated that full-year net interest expense in 2027 would range from $860 million to $880 million.
Carnival shares, meanwhile, gained as much as 13.4% Tuesday after the company increased its full-year adjusted earnings-per-share forecast. The cruise operator said booked occupancy and pricing for 2027 had reached record levels.
Carnival also reported a strong start to 2028 bookings, with both occupancy and pricing running ahead of the comparable period a year earlier.
