Norwegian Aura to debut expanded Mandara Spa and thermal experiences
Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest ship is scheduled to launch in Europe in late May 2027 before homeporting in Miami that June.
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a collection of new wellness experiences for Norwegian Aura, the fleet’s longest and largest vessel. The ship is scheduled to debut in Europe in late May 2027 and begin homeport operations from Miami the following month.
The planned Mandara Spa will span two decks, with spaces drawing inspiration from forest canopies, caves, waterfalls and natural rhythms. Its Thermal Suite is set to feature 15 wellness amenities, 11 of which the cruise line describes as new experiences.
Among the additions is a Sensory Rain Pool designed as a 360-degree environment that progresses from calm water to tropical rainfall and a simulated thunderstorm. Other planned facilities include a blue-light relaxation experience, dedicated foot spa, reflection pool with sea views, cascading-water feature and snow cave. The cruise line also plans guided hot and cold plunge sessions.
Elsewhere in the spa, Norwegian Aura will offer 24 treatment rooms, a full-service salon and a skin lab. Norwegian Cruise Line said its expanded medi-spa services will include IV therapy, NAD+ injections and acupuncture.
