Norwegian Aura to Add New Wellness, Dining and Recreation Options
Norwegian Cruise Line has outlined planned features for its largest ship to date, including an expanded thermal area and 22 food and beverage venues.
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced new wellness and dining offerings for Norwegian Aura, the latest ship in its Prima Plus Class and the company’s largest ship to date.
The ship’s planned Thermal Suite will include 15 wellness amenities, 11 of which are new experiences. Among them is the Sensory Rain Pool, a 360-degree feature that progresses from calm water to tropical rainfall and a simulated thunderstorm with lightning effects and rolling thunder sounds.
Norwegian Aura’s spa is also expected to have 24 treatment rooms, a salon, Skin Lab, medi-spa services and acupuncture. A fitness center with dedicated training studios and wellness programming is also planned.
The culinary program will comprise 22 food and beverage options representing more than 10 cuisines. Tamara will debut as Norwegian Cruise Line’s first specialty restaurant dedicated to Indian cuisine. The complimentary Panorama Room will use LED displays, multi-channel audio, synchronized lighting and changing visuals during meals.
For recreation, the Ocean Heights area is planned with six slides, an 82-foot ropes course, the Moon Climber attraction, carnival-style games and a nine-hole miniature golf course.
