Norwegian Aura to add new spa and dining venues

Norwegian Cruise Line’s planned Prima Plus Class ship is scheduled to debut in Europe in May 2027 before sailing to Miami and the Caribbean.

Norwegian Cruise Line has outlined wellness and dining offerings for Norwegian Aura, which the company describes as its largest ship to date and the latest vessel in its Prima Plus Class.

Plans include a two-deck Mandara Spa with 24 treatment rooms, a fitness center, salon, Skin Lab and medi-spa services. Its Thermal Suite is expected to feature 15 wellness experiences. The ship will also introduce Tamara, an Indian specialty restaurant, and the complimentary Panorama Room dining venue.

Norwegian Aura’s culinary program is planned to comprise 22 food and beverage options representing more than 10 cuisines, according to the cruise line.

The ship is scheduled to begin service on May 21, 2027, with a seven-day Mediterranean sailing from Trieste to Barcelona. A 13-day transatlantic voyage to Miami is set to follow.

During the summers of 2027 and 2028, Norwegian Aura is scheduled to operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean itineraries calling at Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay. For winter 2027-28, the ship is planned to sail week-long Western Caribbean voyages visiting Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Harvest Caye.
