Norwegian Aura Set for May 2027 Mediterranean Debut
Norwegian Cruise Line’s planned largest ship will begin with a seven-day sailing before shifting to Caribbean operations.
Norwegian Cruise Line is preparing to introduce Norwegian Aura, which the company describes as its largest ship to date. The vessel is scheduled to debut May 21, 2027, on a seven-day Mediterranean voyage, followed by Caribbean operations beginning in summer 2027.
Plans for the ship include a Mandara Spa with a Thermal Suite offering 15 experiences. The wellness facilities are also expected to feature a Snow Cave, Reflection Pool and Sensory Rain Pool.
Norwegian Aura’s Ocean Heights recreation area is planned with six slides, an 82-foot ropes course and a nine-hole miniature golf course. The ship is also slated to offer 22 food and beverage venues representing 10 cuisines, including the Tamara specialty Indian restaurant and the Panorama Room on Deck 6.
Listed itinerary calls include Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas. Norwegian Aura’s planned winter itineraries also include Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Harvest Caye.
