Norwegian Aura entertainment lineup led by Whitney Houston celebration
Norwegian Cruise Line has outlined the new ship’s onboard productions and its first Mediterranean, transatlantic and Caribbean voyages.
Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled an entertainment program for Norwegian Aura led by Whitney: A Celebration of Whitney Houston. Developed with The Estate of Whitney E. Houston and Primary Wave Music, the 45-minute production will feature live vocals, a live band and immersive visuals in the three-storey Aura Theatre & Club.
Other offerings include the illusion and acrobatics show Illuminox: Infinite Wonder Unboxed and The Vinyl Republic, a live music collective that will perform across the ship, including at the Penrose Atrium and Improv at Sea. The adults-only cabaret and nightlife experience LunaTique: Pop Circus will return from Norwegian Luna.
Norwegian Aura is scheduled to debut in May 2027. Its seven-day inaugural Mediterranean voyage will depart Trieste on May 21, 2027, and call at Valletta, Salerno and Civitavecchia while traveling toward Barcelona. The ship will then make a thirteen-day transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami.
From June through October 2027, Aura will operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean sailings from Miami visiting Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay. During winter 2027-28, it will offer seven-day Western Caribbean voyages calling at Roatan, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Harvest Caye.
