Norwegian Aura debut moves forward with two added May 2027 sailings
Earlier shipyard delivery will allow Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest ship to enter service sooner than previously planned.

Norwegian Cruise Line has advanced the debut of Norwegian Aura, adding two Mediterranean voyages ahead of the ship’s previously scheduled inaugural sailing. The company said an earlier delivery from the shipyard made the expanded May 2027 schedule possible.
The first new itinerary is a 10-day voyage departing Trieste, Italy, for Athens on May 2, 2027. Port calls are planned in Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia; Bar, Montenegro; and the Greek destinations of Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos.
A nine-day return voyage will leave Athens for Trieste on May 12. Its scheduled stops include Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini and Corfu in Greece; Bar in Montenegro; and Split and Zadar in Croatia.
Norwegian Aura is under construction at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy and is designed to accommodate about 3,880 passengers. Planned onboard features include a new outdoor activities complex called Ocean Heights, dedicated spaces for children, teenagers and families, the fleet’s largest pool deck, and its largest adults-only Vibe Beach Club sun deck.
After a transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami, the ship is scheduled to operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises from Miami. Those itineraries will visit Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island in The Bahamas.
