Norwegian Aura adds two inaugural Mediterranean voyages for May 2027
Norwegian Cruise Line says the sailings were added following the new ship’s anticipated early delivery and are now open for sale.

Norwegian Aura is scheduled to debut May 2, 2027, with a 10-day voyage from Trieste to Athens, also known as Piraeus. Calls are planned in Dubrovnik, Split, Bar, Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos. A nine-day return sailing will leave Athens on May 12 and visit Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Bar, Split and Zadar.
The company plans for Norwegian Aura to measure nearly 1,130 feet and approximately 170,000 gross tons, making it 10% larger than Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. The Ocean Heights outdoor complex will span decks 18 through 21, with waterslides, a ropes course, an obstacle course, carnival-style games and areas for children, teens and families.
The announced entertainment lineup includes Whitney: A Celebration of Whitney Houston, ILLUMINOX: Infinite Wonder Unboxed, The Vinyl Republic, Aura FIRST NIGHT and Latin LIVE. Planned dining and wellness additions include Tamara, The Panorama Room, a Thermal Suite and a Sensory Rain Pool at Mandara Spa.
After the inaugural cruises, the ship is scheduled for a seven-day Trieste-to-Barcelona voyage on May 21, followed by a 13-day transatlantic sailing. Norwegian Aura is then due to operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises from Miami from June through October 2027.
