MSC World Atlantic Reaches First Water Milestone in France
The fourth World Class vessel is scheduled to enter service in 2027 with Caribbean itineraries.

MSC World Atlantic has touched water for the first time at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France, where the vessel remains under construction.
Scheduled to enter service in 2027, the ship is set to become the 25th vessel in the MSC Cruises fleet and the fourth in the cruise line’s World Class series. MSC Cruises plans to deploy it in the Caribbean.
The ship is slated to begin alternating seven-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings in November following its entry into service.
MSC World Atlantic will follow MSC World Asia, the third ship in the World Class series, which is scheduled to join the fleet on Dec. 4. MSC Cruises also plans to introduce four more World Class vessels between 2029 and 2031.
