MSC World Atlantic Floats Out in France
The future MSC Cruises flagship is scheduled for delivery in 2027 before beginning Caribbean service in November that year.

MSC Cruises has marked the float out of MSC World Atlantic at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, where the vessel touched water for the first time.
The ship is set to become the 25th vessel in the MSC Cruises fleet and the fourth LNG ship in its World Class series. Plans call for seven distinct onboard districts, each with its own atmosphere, facilities and entertainment.
MSC World Atlantic will remain at the shipyard while work continues on its interiors, public areas and final technical components. Delivery to MSC Cruises is scheduled for 2027.
Beginning in November 2027, the ship is planned to operate alternating seven-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. The sailings will include visits to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas. Itineraries are available to book.
