MSC Virtuosa scheduled for Santos cruise season

Concais forecasts 161 ship calls over 100 operating days through April 4, 2027.

MSC Virtuosa is scheduled to arrive at the Giusfredo Santini Passenger Maritime Terminal in Santos on December 2 during the 2026/2027 cruise season. Concais, which operates the terminal, says the ship has capacity for 6,300 passengers and is expected to make 19 calls.

The season’s ten scheduled ships are expected to complete 161 calls in Santos across 100 operating days through April 4, 2027. Concais projects 418,000 embarkations and approximately 900,000 total passengers, including embarking, disembarking and transit guests.

Corazul Cruzeiros confirmed that Buenavista will open the season on October 23 with its first call in the country. In partnership with R11 Travel, the vessel is scheduled for 39 Santos calls and three-, four-, five- and seven-night itineraries departing from Santos and Rio de Janeiro.

MSC Virtuosa, MSC Divina, MSC Musica, MSC Seaview, Costa Diadema and Buenavista are scheduled to operate regular services with embarkations and disembarkations in Santos. Zaandam, Queen Anne, Azamara Journey and Insignia are identified as long-haul vessels operating international voyages with foreign passengers.
