MSC Meraviglia to replace MSC Virtuosa in Southampton for summer 2027
The ship will offer 19 cruises from the UK port between May and October, while MSC Virtuosa moves to Barcelona.
MSC Meraviglia is scheduled to take over MSC Virtuosa’s Southampton program following the 2026 summer season. From May 18 to October 30, 2027, MSC Meraviglia will operate 19 cruises lasting between six and 14 nights.
The Southampton schedule will feature destinations including Ibiza, Gibraltar and Tangier, as well as voyages to the Canary Islands, Lisbon, Malaga and the Norwegian Fjords. A new Baltic Sea itinerary will include calls at Oslo, Fredericia and Copenhagen.
MSC said the deployment will give UK customers their first opportunity to experience MSC Meraviglia. The ship belongs to the same family as MSC Virtuosa but is slightly smaller.
MSC Virtuosa is due to reposition to the Mediterranean for summer 2027. It is scheduled to sail from Barcelona between April and October.
