MSC Euribia to use Funchal as a winter embarkation port
MSC Cruises plans seven-night itineraries linking Madeira and the Canary Islands during the 2027-2028 winter season.

MSC Cruises announced that Funchal will become an embarkation and disembarkation port for MSC Euribia during the 2027-2028 winter season. According to the company, positioning the ship in the area will expand capacity within its regional winter program.
MSC Euribia will operate seven-night itineraries between Madeira and the Canary Islands. Passengers will be able to embark in Funchal, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Arrecife or Santa Cruz de La Palma. The itinerary will also include calls at Fuerteventura and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, together with a day at sea.
The ship uses liquefied natural gas for propulsion. It also incorporates equipment for connecting to land-based electrical grids, alongside technologies designed for wastewater treatment, waste management and energy efficiency. MSC Cruises has announced that sales for the winter program will open in September.
