MSC Cruises revises World Europa and World Asia plans for winter 2027/2028
The deployment changes affect previously scheduled sailings in the Western Mediterranean, Middle East and South Caribbean.
MSC Cruises has announced revised deployment plans for its winter 2027/2028 season, changing operations involving MSC World Europa, MSC World Asia and MSC Meraviglia.
MSC World Europa will remain in the Western Mediterranean rather than repositioning to the Middle East as previously planned. The ship is scheduled to operate seven-night cruises with multiple embarkation options and calls at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina and Valletta.
MSC World Asia will sail seven- and 14-night South Caribbean itineraries. Guests will be able to embark in Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre or Bridgetown, with listed destinations including Castries, St. George's, Philipsburg, St. John's, Basseterre, Roseau and Kingstown.
According to MSC Cruises, customers booked on MSC World Europa’s canceled Middle East program are being contacted directly and may choose an alternative sailing or request a full refund. Bookings for MSC World Asia’s previously planned Mediterranean cruises and MSC Meraviglia’s South Caribbean sailings will also be updated for the winter 2027/2028 season. The company said affected passengers will receive direct information about changes to their individual reservations.
