MSC Cruises revises Winter 2027/2028 deployment
MSC World Asia will move to the South Caribbean, while MSC World Europa will remain in the Western Mediterranean instead of sailing in the Middle East.
MSC Cruises announced deployment changes for its Winter 2027/2028 season on Aug. 20, 2026, updating plans in the South Caribbean and Western Mediterranean.
MSC World Asia will operate seven- and 14-night South Caribbean itineraries, with embarkation available in Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; and Bridgetown, Barbados. The routes will include calls at Castries, St. Lucia; St. George’s, Grenada; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda; Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis; Roseau, Dominica; and Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
MSC World Europa, previously scheduled for a Middle East deployment, will instead continue seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises. Its itinerary will visit Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina and Valletta, with embarkation offered from multiple ports in the region.
According to MSC Cruises, reservations for guests booked aboard MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean will be updated, and customers will be contacted about changes affecting their trips. Guests booked on MSC World Europa’s canceled Middle East program are also being contacted and may transfer to another sailing or request a full refund.
