MSC Cruises reshuffles winter 2027/28 ship deployments
MSC World Europa will remain in Europe, while MSC World Asia is set to move from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean.
MSC Cruises has revised its winter 2027/28 schedule, shifting MSC World Europa from a planned Middle East deployment to Europe and moving MSC World Asia from Europe to the Caribbean.
Under the updated program, MSC World Asia will operate seven- and 14-night Southern Caribbean itineraries. Passengers will be able to embark in Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; and Bridgetown, Barbados.
MSC World Europa will instead sail seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises, with a choice of embarkation ports across the region. The ship had originally been scheduled to operate in the Middle East.
According to MSC Cruises, reservations for guests booked aboard MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the Southern Caribbean during winter 2027/28 will be updated. The company said affected guests will be contacted directly with details about changes to their individual bookings.
MSC Cruises also said passengers booked on MSC World Europa’s canceled Middle East program, along with their travel partners, are being contacted about available options. These include moving the reservation to another sailing or requesting a full refund.
