Meyer Werft lays keel for Disney Believe in Germany
The fourth Wish-class Disney Cruise Line ship is scheduled to enter service in late 2027.

Meyer Werft has laid the keel for Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Believe at its Papenburg shipyard in Germany. During the traditional ceremony, the shipbuilder placed a specially minted Tinker Bell coin beneath the keel and began assembling the vessel’s second gigablock.
The 144,000-gross-ton ship is scheduled for delivery in 2027 and is expected to begin service late that year. Disney Believe will be the fourth vessel in the Wish class, following Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. Plans call for a hybrid liquefied natural gas-electric propulsion system.
Disney Believe is planned with 1,256 staterooms and capacity for up to 5,500 guests. Around 90% of its accommodations will be outside cabins, including balcony rooms, premium single cabins and suites offering concierge service. Planned onboard facilities include Disney-themed restaurants, family and adults-only lounges, 10 pools, a waterpark, children’s play areas and a theatre.
