Marseille Provence Croisière celebrates anniversary aboard MSC Meraviglia
About 100 guests attended the event, which highlighted cruise activity in the region and the Horizon 2030 initiative.
Marseille Provence Croisière marked its anniversary with a celebration aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Meraviglia. Approximately 100 guests attended, including past and present members of the nonprofit organization, cruise lines, port stakeholders, public institutions and economic partners.
The organization’s milestones include Marseille hosting Seatrade Med in 2012. Cruise passenger numbers in the region then exceeded one million in 2013.
In 2025, Marseille Provence welcomed 2,634,780 ocean cruise passengers through 660 port calls. It also received 165,616 river cruise passengers on the southern Rhône.
President Jacques Hardelay said Marseille Provence Croisière’s Horizon 2030 initiative seeks to make cruising in Marseille Provence more responsible, better integrated and more valuable to the region.
