Margaritaville at Sea plans Galveston sailings from October 2027
The cruise line is set to operate weekly departures from Cruise Terminal 28 under an agreement approved by Galveston Wharves trustees.

Margaritaville at Sea plans to begin weekly cruises from Galveston in October 2027, operating from the Texas port’s Cruise Terminal 28.
According to a press release, the Galveston Wharves Board of Trustees unanimously approved an agreement with the cruise line on August 25. The initial term will last one year and includes options for two additional five-year periods.
The company has not yet disclosed which ship will be assigned to Galveston or the specific routes it will operate. The vessel and its itineraries are scheduled to be announced during a port event in September.
Galveston Wharves port director and CEO Rodger Rees said the addition would bring Friday departures to the port’s cruise schedule and provide travelers with more choices. He also said the service would broaden access to both established and new destinations across the Caribbean and Central America.
