Margaritaville at Sea plans Galveston sailings from October 2027
The cruise line will operate weekly Friday departures from Cruise Terminal 28 under an agreement approved by port trustees.

Margaritaville at Sea will begin sailing from the Port of Galveston in October 2027, becoming the port’s seventh cruise line. Its schedule will add weekly Friday departures aimed at travelers from Texas and the Central United States.
The Galveston Wharves Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Aug. 25 to accept the agreement with the cruise line. The deal has an initial term of one year and includes options for two additional five-year renewals. Margaritaville at Sea will operate from Cruise Terminal 28.
The cruise line is expected to announce its Galveston-based ship and planned Caribbean and Central American itineraries during a port event in September.
The Port of Galveston forecasts 446 cruise sailings in 2026. The port also expects 3.9 million passenger movements that year, which it says would establish a new record.
