Margaritaville at Sea Plans First Texas Homeport in Galveston
Beachcomber is scheduled to begin four- to seven-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises in October 2027.

Margaritaville at Sea is preparing to establish its first Texas homeport operation, with Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber scheduled to begin sailing from Galveston in October 2027. The deployment will expand the cruise brand beyond its current short-break operations from Florida.
Published itinerary information indicates that Beachcomber will operate voyages ranging from four to seven nights. The Galveston schedule is expected to include shorter four-night getaways as well as weeklong cruises traveling farther into the Caribbean basin.
According to the company’s booking pages, ports on the ship’s planned itineraries may include Key West, Belize and Cozumel, along with destinations in the Bahamas. Specific calls will vary by itinerary. The planned mix gives travelers a choice between brief cruises and longer Caribbean and Bahamas sailings from the Texas port.
