Margaritaville at Sea Launches Travel Advisor Certification
The four-section training program includes booking incentives, marketing materials and access to special travel rates.
Margaritaville at Sea has introduced a certification program for travel advisors registered with the company, regardless of their location.
The Certified Margaritaville at Sea Travel Advisor program has four coursework sections that the cruise line says can be completed in under an hour and a half. Graduates receive the Certified Margaritaville at Sea Travel Advisor designation, a personalized certificate and a logo for digital use.
Newly certified advisors can earn $50 in bonus commission for a new FIT booking made within two weeks of finishing the course. The first 50 people to complete the program can earn an additional $25 in bonus commission on their next FIT booking, for a combined total of $75.
Certified advisors can also receive two additional GAP points for groups booked within one month of certification. Other benefits include special rates on advisor and familiarization sailings, as well as eligibility for specified invitation-only familiarization trips, Seminars at Sea and certain regional events.
