Marella Cruises adds Patras and six itineraries for summer 2028
The programme includes two new regional itineraries and four repositioning options, with sailings due to go on sale in October 2026.

Marella Cruises has announced its summer 2028 programme, adding Patras in Greece as a new port of call alongside six new itineraries. All summer sailings are scheduled to go on sale on 15 October 2026.
Marella Explorer is due to make the cruise line’s first visit to Patras in July 2028 as part of the new Grecian Gems itinerary from Corfu. Marella Explorer 2, the company’s adults-only ship, will begin a new seven-night Spanish Shores itinerary from Malaga in June 2028, calling at Gibraltar, Ibiza Town, Mahon, Palma and Cartagena, with a day at sea.
Four repositioning offerings are planned from April 2028. Marella Explorer will operate 10- and 11-night Sail into Spring voyages from Las Palmas and Santa Cruz respectively to Corfu. Marella Discovery 2 will sail a five-night Flavours of the Mediterranean cruise from Palma to Dubrovnik, while Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Voyager will offer 13-night crossings from Barbados to Malaga and Palma respectively. According to Marella Cruises, these voyages will feature guest speakers, extra shows, new showcases and additional tribute acts.
The cruise line has also expanded its cruise-and-stay programme to 119 hotels across Majorca, Corfu, Dubrovnik and Malaga, with departures operating from 22 airports in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
