Major Travel adds cruise bookings to Major Go portal
The pilot tool allows travel agents to package sailings with flights, hotels and transfers in one interface.
Major Travel has introduced a cruise-booking function on its Major Go digital portal, giving travel agents a single interface for creating, pricing and booking tailor-made cruise holidays.
According to the travel wholesaler, participating agents can access sailings from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Disney Cruise Line, as well as other cruise brands. Flights, hotel stays and transfers can also be added to produce a complete cruise holiday booking through the platform.
The function is initially operating in pilot mode, with Major Travel inviting agents to test the service before its full launch. Agents who sign up during August will be able to prepare quotes, make bookings and submit feedback to the Major Go team to help shape the tool.
Major Travel said agents taking part will receive an additional £50 for each cruise booking completed through Major Go during the pilot period, which runs until September.
