Major Travel adds cruise bookings to Major Go platform
The UK travel wholesaler is inviting agents to test the new functionality during an initial pilot period.
Major Travel has expanded its Major Go digital platform with functionality enabling travel agents to build and book tailor-made cruise holidays through the company’s existing interface.
The new tools allow agents to create and price cruise trips, with access to itineraries from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Disney Cruise Line and other cruise brands. Agents can also combine sailings with flights, hotel stays and transfers to create holiday packages.
The cruise-booking function will initially operate in pilot mode. Major Travel is inviting agents to sign up during August, when participants will be able to prepare quotes, complete bookings and submit feedback directly to the Major Go team. The wholesaler said this input will help shape the tool before its full launch.
Agents participating in the trial will receive an additional £50 for every cruise booking made through Major Go during the pilot period, which runs until September.
