Major cruise lines set for September calls in the Dominican Republic
The schedule covers Puerto Plata, La Romana and Cabo Rojo, although the Port Authority said arrival details may change.
Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Virgin Voyages and Princess Cruises are included in the September cruise schedule for calls at Puerto Plata, La Romana and Cabo Rojo.
Scheduled ship arrivals include Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration, Norwegian Prima, MSC World America, Resilient Lady and Allure of the Seas. The Port Authority cautioned that dates and times remain subject to change according to cruise-line operating conditions.
Scheduling data indicates that Taino Bay in Puerto Plata receives vessels from Royal Caribbean Group lines, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands, newer market entrants and Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity Beyond is among the ships operating Caribbean itineraries that feature Puerto Plata. Its voyages also include Nassau, Cozumel and George Town. The ship’s Caribbean programs commonly use weeklong departures from Miami and Fort Lauderdale, with some itineraries pairing Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas with destinations in the Dominican Republic and other regional ports.
