Linen storage fire contained aboard MS Amadea in Bornholm
Authorities said 320 passengers were moved between decks while emergency crews responded at the cruise quay in Rønne.

More than 300 cruise passengers were moved to safety aboard MS Amadea after a fire started in a linen storage area while the vessel was docked on the Danish island of Bornholm, according to Bornholm Police.
Police said the fire was reported at 7:21 a.m. at the cruise quay in Rønne and extinguished about 10 minutes later. In a correction to its initial announcement, the agency said the 320 affected passengers remained on the ship and were relocated from one deck to another rather than taken ashore.
Police, firefighters and the Danish Emergency Management Agency responded to the incident. Authorities also opened an investigation into the cause of the fire. Bornholm Fire Department incident commander Emil Gørløv said the danger had passed by 8:10 a.m.
Passengers subsequently returned to their areas aboard Amadea and were served breakfast. CruiseMapper listed the ship as operating a 12-night round-trip voyage from Bremerhaven, Germany.
