Limited cabin categories can sell quickly on Royal Caribbean ships
A report highlights scarce suites, solo accommodations and select oversized balconies, alongside high-capacity and premium options.

Some Royal Caribbean cabin categories may be particularly limited. According to the report, suites tend to sell quickly because cruise ships carry fewer suites than other types of accommodation.
Solo travelers also face restricted inventory. The report says about a dozen ships offer solo rooms, with some vessels carrying only two. These cabins do not incur the single-supplement fee that solo passengers would pay when reserving other cabin types.
The report also identifies six Central Park balcony cabins with balconies twice the standard size. The listed cabins are 10229 and 10629 on deck 10, 11229 and 11629 on deck 11, and 12229 and 12629 on deck 12.
For Alaska sailings, the report says balcony-room prices increase as inventory is booked. At the larger end of the accommodation range, Symphony of the Seas has a four-bedroom Villa Suite that sleeps as many as 14 guests and comes with Star Class benefits. The report also says Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate Family Treehouse costs more than $200,000.
