Legend of the Seas adds family-focused cabin options
Royal Caribbean’s ship combines dedicated bunk alcoves, connecting rooms and a three-level townhouse across its eight neighborhoods.

Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers and is arranged into eight neighborhoods. Its accommodations include 102 Family Infinite Ocean View Balcony rooms and 24 new Family Ocean View Balcony rooms, the latter featuring traditional step-out verandas.
The family staterooms place children’s bunk beds in recessed alcoves separated from the main sleeping area. Families traveling together can also reserve adjoining configurations, using an interior door to connect the primary room with a second cabin.
A larger option, the three-story Ultimate Family Townhouse, spans Decks 7, 8 and 9. Its features include separate bedrooms, an in-suite slide, a cinema and game room, and a private outdoor area with a hot tub. The outdoor space also provides gated access to the Surfside neighborhood.
Royal Caribbean also plans to introduce a Family Treehouse suite aboard Hero of the Seas. A reported seven-night Western Mediterranean itinerary aboard Legend of the Seas is scheduled to depart from Barcelona.
