Legal & General discloses Royal Caribbean investment

Legal & General Group Plc acquired 1,302,078 shares of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. during the second quarter, according to its most recent disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The position was valued at approximately $413,449,000.
The filing showed that Legal & General owned approximately 0.49% of Royal Caribbean. The report also stated that hedge funds and other institutional investors own 87.53% of the cruise company’s stock.
