Le Laperouse calls at Greenock before voyage to Bordeaux
The Ponant expedition ship was scheduled to begin an eight-night itinerary through Ireland, England and France.

Le Laperouse visited Inverclyde and was scheduled to depart Greenock at 6pm on an eight-night, one-way voyage to Bordeaux, France.
The planned route after Greenock included calls at Portrush, Warrenpoint and Cobh in County Cork on the island of Ireland. The ship was then due to continue to England before sailing to France.
Operated by Ponant, the 10,700-tonne Le Laperouse is one of six vessels in the company’s Explorer class. The 131-metre ship can accommodate up to 184 guests across five passenger decks and carries almost 112 crew members.
Onboard facilities include a theatre, spa, fitness suite and several dining options. The ship also features the Blue Eye lounge, designed to provide passengers with underwater views.
Le Laperouse was inaugurated by Maryvonne Pinault, wife of French billionaire François Pinault and mother-in-law of actor Salma Hayek.
