Isles of Scilly completes 2026 cruise season with 46 calls
Approximately 19,000 cruise tourists visited the islands, with no cancellations attributed to weather conditions.

The Isles of Scilly recorded 46 cruise ship calls carrying approximately 19,000 tourists during the 2026 season. No cancellations were attributed to weather conditions.
For the season’s final call, Bolette anchored in Crow Sound, allowing passengers to go ashore on St Mary’s and Tresco.
The islands, located off the coast of Cornwall in southwest England, have two dedicated cruise ship anchorages. Their locations offer alternatives depending on prevailing wind and sea conditions. Locally operated tender boats can continue operating in conditions that may be more challenging for a cruise ship’s own tender fleet.
The season also included maiden visits by SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream II and Nordstjernen. Both ships called on the same day in September. Nordstjernen’s visit formed part of an anniversary voyage marking 70 years since the vessel’s launch.
SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream I is scheduled to visit the Isles of Scilly in September 2027. Local authorities and tourism operators are seeking to expand the number of cruise calls and attract additional luxury cruise vessels.
