Isles of Scilly completes 2026 cruise season with 46 calls
The islands welcomed 19,000 cruise passengers and recorded no weather-related cancellations during the season.
The Isles of Scilly received 46 cruise calls carrying 19,000 passengers during the 2026 season, with no weather-related cancellations reported.
The season ended on September 15, when Bolette anchored in Crow Sound. Passengers were transferred ashore for visits to St Mary’s and Tresco.
The destination has two dedicated cruise ship anchorages, giving operators the option to select a position based on weather conditions. Port operators said cruise captains have increasingly contacted them for real-time assessments before making operational decisions, rather than depending only on forecasts.
Two ships made maiden calls during the season. SeaDream Yacht Club sent SeaDream II to the islands for the first time, while Vestland Classic included the destination in Nordstjernen’s 70th anniversary itinerary for its inaugural visit.
SeaDream Yacht Club is also scheduled to return with a different vessel. SeaDream I has a confirmed booking for September 2027.
