Icon of the Seas program set to air on Seven

The three-part UK production World’s Biggest Cruise Ship follows the Royal Caribbean vessel and preparations for its maiden voyage.

The 2024 program World’s Biggest Cruise Ship goes behind the scenes aboard Icon of the Seas as the Royal Caribbean vessel prepares for its maiden voyage. The series describes the ship as five times bigger than the Titanic.

According to the program, the ship has 2,500 crew members and 7,600 passengers aboard, bringing the overall number of people on board to about 10,000.

Food preparation is among the operations featured. The program reports that the kitchen crew comprises more than 400 chefs. Together, they produce an estimated 45,000 to 50,000 meals each day for those aboard the vessel.

The three-part program is listed to air Tuesday on Seven.
