Icon of the Seas President’s Cruise Features Added Events and Performances
The 2026 sailing included extra daily programming, appearances by Royal Caribbean President and CEO Michael Bayley, concerts and shoreside experiences.

A writer who attended the 2026 President’s Cruise aboard Icon of the Seas reported that Royal Caribbean added about two to three events per day beyond the ship’s usual entertainment program.
Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley hosted activities and met guests during the cruise. The schedule included opportunities for passengers to ask Bayley questions, show him cruise memorabilia and watch him host a retired cruise activity. On the second day, Bayley led an event called Common Ground.
Kool and the Gang performed two concerts aboard the ship, with no charge to attend. Royal Caribbean also presented a drone show in Miami and a fireworks display at CocoCay.
In St. Maarten, the port experience featured a promenade where local vendors provided complimentary juices, snacks and souvenirs.
