Hurtigruten adds six-day Svalbard and Arctic Norway winter itinerary
The 2026–27 program combines a Svalbard land stay with a coastal voyage through Northern Norway, with fares starting at £1,655 per person.

Hurtigruten has introduced a six-day winter itinerary named Northern Delights: Svalbard and Arctic Norway for the 2026–27 season. The program combines a land-based stay in Svalbard with a coastal voyage through Northern Norway.
On day three, passengers fly from Spitsbergen to Tromsø, with the flight included in the package. Following time for independent exploration in Tromsø, guests board a Hurtigruten vessel on the evening of day four.
The coastal portion sails toward Kirkenes and calls at Skjervøy, Hammerfest and Honningsvåg. The route then passes Finnkirka on the Varanger Peninsula, a place linked to Sámi tradition.
Departures are scheduled for Dec. 6, 2026; Jan. 5, 24 and 31, 2027; Feb. 2, 16 and 21; and March 2, 9, 16 and 23.
Prices start at £1,655 per person. According to Hurtigruten, the full-board package includes the flight from Longyearbyen to Tromsø, transfers, hotel stays, ship passage and selected activities.
